Product Marketing Manager

Unique opportunity to join a fast growing and game changing software company. Seal are looking for a creative and ambitious Product Marketing Manager, seeking their next challenge.

As our Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities of Seal products. You will develop the messaging and positioning of our products, creating and developing innovative marketing programs, from conception to execution, that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into real-world benefits will be crucial.  In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in understanding and communicating with potential customers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing materials – develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Seal in the market
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of Seal to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of our products, supporting both direct sales as well as our channel partners
  • Product launches – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our customers and prospects, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to successfully market against them
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for our products

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise software solution marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business or marketing related subject
  • Very strong, demonstrable written communication skills
  • Willing to travel (approximately 25% of role)
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties including partners, analysts and media

Solution Architect

Job Description
Seal Software Group currently has an open opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect, to join our young, dynamic organisation as we continue to grow. Seal are a small company, currently expanding, with a small vibrant 30-member team of technology, marketing and sales experts. Together we are changing the world of Contract Management and are pioneering a whole new world of Contract Discovery technology.
Seal’s Contract Management solutions include our Contract Lifecycle Management solution, based on Microsoft SharePoint, and our unique and market leading Contract Discovery solution, which is Java based. Our Contract Discovery solution is based on an NLP engine with machine learning capabilities.
Working on high profile client engagements, the successful candidate will be responsible for pre-sales engagements and post sales activities. They will also have project delivery responsibility, including custom solutions design.
Java scripting skills and regular expression or linguistic analysis is also desirable, knowledge of the GATE architecture and processing is also of significant value.

The role requires experience in pre-sales and high level design of solutions across enterprise scale programs. You may be required to lead teams of consultants and developers and must have demonstrable experience of customer engagement, sales, pre-sales and stakeholder management.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Building client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Developing client information management strategies
  • Analysis and high-level design of Strategy, Architecture and Solution Development
  • Consulting with clients to build vision, determine requirements, perform system and architectural design
  • Developing and maintaining an Enterprise Contract Management subject matter expertise that is technology independent and consulting across technology platforms in this area
  • Advising clients on successful governance and change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of the solution
  • Creation of custom information extraction and information identification policies
  • Managing technical team leaders
  • Involvement in pre-sales activities, including writing proposals, delivering presentations and product demonstrations
  • Development of practice IP and partner management processes

Travel

Pre Sales Consultant

Job Description

We are looking to hire pre-sales consultants to assist sales in both direct sales as well as to support channel partners in assigned sales regions.

Role

You will be a key part of our North America sales organization. We are looking for someone who has a start-up mentality (drive, energy and enthusiasm). We want you to be equally confident delivering PowerPoint presentations to both technical and C-level audiences, as well as directly “touch” the technology by building and delivering demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept systems.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Make technical qualification calls
  • Technical sales documentation (RFP/RFI content)
  • Own all technical aspects of proof of concept product evaluations including installation, configuration, and training
  • Being able to convey the technical and business benefits of the product and understand customer challenges to design business solutions.
  • Maintaining on going post-sales relationships

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years Pre-sales experience
  • Solid balance of technical and sales skills
  • Background and experience from one or more of the following areas

North America Regional Sales Director

Contract Management Software
Location: North America
Reports To: Vice President, North America
Years of Experience: 5 – 10 Years

The purpose of this position is to build and lead the development of a growing customer base and Solution Partner Channel in various regions across North America to attain sales objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of customers via lead follow-ups, social networking, prospecting, partner involvement and all other means of developing business.
  • Meet the monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for contract sales, and pipeline.
  • Maintain hi-touch sales force automation system for managing to pipeline and key performance indicators.
  • Set up appointments with prospective clients to discover needs, pain points and powerbrokers to direct sales activity towards a proposal to cut to the chase and solve those needs.
  • Negotiate with the customer to secure the sale.
  • Quote prices accurately, while completely ensuring customer understanding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain customer contact lists and organize appointments and proposals.
  • Follow up with the customer on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be proactive by contacting multiple new prospects at least 30% of your time on a daily basis.
  • Attend sales meetings and any other training programs as required.

Requirements
Business to Business Direct Sales Experience:

  • Qualifying, Close Planning, Proven B2B Sales Methods
  • Middle to Large Enterprise Sales Track Record
  • Ideally 5+ Years Professional Sales Experience

Solution Selling Experience

  • Application Software Sales (ideally ECM, Legal, ERP/CRM, or vertical applied applications)
  • Line-of-Business Prospecting, Account Development, Account Leadership
  • Small and Big Ticket Software and Services Sales Experience ($25K-$500K Range), typically with beachhead selling that radiates across the enterprise.
  • ROI Based Sales Experience (ideally to Office of General Counsel, Head of Procurement, Office of the CFO or Head of Sales).

Partner Management Experience

  • Reference able track record of partner go-to-market experience with VAR’s, SI’s, or strategic partners.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will have direct or related experience with any of the following companies/solutions: EMC/Documentum, Zantaz, IBM/FileNet, Verity, Vignette, Stellent, Interwoven, Autonomy, Kazeon, Clearwell Systems, Emptoris, Selectica, Upside Software, CLM Matrix.
