Regional Sales Director

Location: Texas, New York, Atlanta
Reports To: Vice President, Sales NA West/NA East
Years of Experience: 5 – 10 Years
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree

 

The purpose of this position is to build and lead the development of a growing customer base and Solution Partner Channel in various regions across North America to attain sales objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of customers via lead follow-ups, social networking, prospecting, partner involvement and all other means of developing business.
  • Meet the monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for contract sales, and pipeline.
  • Maintain hi-touch sales force automation system for managing to pipeline and key performance indicators.
  • Set up appointments with prospective clients to discover needs, pain points and powerbrokers to direct sales activity towards a proposal to cut to the chase and solve those needs.
  • Negotiate with the customer to secure the sale.
  • Quote prices accurately, while completely ensuring customer understanding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain customer contact lists and organize appointments and proposals.
  • Follow up with the customer on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be proactive by contacting multiple new prospects at least 30% of your time on a daily basis.
  • Attend sales meetings and any other training programs as required.

Requirements:

Business to Business Direct Sales Experience:

  • Qualifying, Close Planning, Proven B2B Sales Methods
  • Middle to Large Enterprise Sales Track Record
  • Ideally 5+ Years Professional Sales Experience

Solution Selling Experience:

  • Application Software Sales (ideally ECM, Legal, ERP/CRM, or vertical applied applications)
  • Line-of-Business Prospecting, Account Development, Account Leadership
  • Small and Big Ticket Software and Services Sales Experience ($25K-$500K Range), typically with beachhead selling that radiates across the enterprise.
  • ROI Based Sales Experience (ideally to Office of General Counsel, Head of Procurement, Office of the CFO or Head of Sales).

Partner Management Experience:

  • Referenceable track record of partner go-to-market experience with VAR’s, SI’s, or strategic partners.

Solution Architect

Location: NYC, San Francisco, West Coast
Reports To: Professional Services Director
Years of Experience: 5 – 10 Years
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and Proven Relevant Experience

 

The Consultant owns the technical deployment and configuration of ongoing delivery of Seal projects working on high profile client engagements. Working with the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery, including custom solutions design and implementation. Java scripting skills and experience with regular expressions language or linguistic analysis is also desirable. Knowledge of the GATE architecture and processing is also of significant value.

The role requires experience in high level design of solutions across enterprise scale programs. You may be required to lead teams of consultants and developers and must have demonstrable experience of customer engagement, pre-sales and stakeholder management.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Building client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Consulting with clients to build vision, determine requirements, perform system and architectural design
  • Developing client contract information and other data management strategies
  • Creation of custom contract information extraction and information identification policies

Business Development Executive

Location: San Francisco (Office Based)
Reports To: VP Sales, West & Central
Years of Experience: +2 Years of experience in a similar role

The function of the Business Development Executive is to provide direct support to the Regional Sales Directors in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets.

Principal Duties:

The following are principal duties of the Business Development Executive (BDE)

SELF-GENERATED LEAD RESEARCH AND OUTBOUND PROSPECTING

  • Using available tools (including a legacy CRM database, academic conference proceedings, industry publications and google alerts), to undertake self-directed research on the industry to uncover new leads for processing.
  • Development of the prospect pipeline through identification, targeting and soliciting online/phone meetings with prospects and developing qualified leads
  • Lead prospecting to identify, contact and qualify potential customers
  • Closed-loop tracking and metrics reporting to management
  • Meets or exceeds required targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Submits timely updates and inputs in SalesForce.com with an eye for accuracy and detail
  • Support marketing programs as needed, such as creation and maintenance of mailing lists, invitations
  • Pull data from online sources like LinkedIn, Hoovers, Jigsaw and prospect websites as needed
  • Demonstrates an ability to work as part of a team
  • Enterprise Software industry experience

MONITOR, QUALIFY AND MANAGE IN-BOUND LEADS

The BDE will manage lead qualification and early-stage sales for the sales team. Sales inquiries and other marketing-generated leads come from a variety of sources that need to be regularly monitored (i.e. email boxes, phone inquiries, social media, web forms, event marketing, etc.). Timely responses, coupled with deep product knowledge, account research and a clear understanding of the lead source will assist with expeditious response and an appropriate lead engagement strategy.

UNDERTAKE FURTHER LEAD/ACCOUNT RESEARCH

Before and after a lead has been engaged, the BDE will be responsible to undertake extra research on the company and individual to help facilitate the lead engagement strategy.

PASS ON LEADS

Following initial lead research and qualification, the BDE will pass leads onto the appropriate salesperson. Efficient transfer of background information gained from research activities and/or prospect engagement is necessary for any successful sales conversion.

TRENDING, ANALYSIS, AND OPTIMIZATION

The BDE will be responsible for contributing to the analysis of prospect inquiry and lead trends. With this information they will participate in the design and implementation of lead scoring and automation of lead assignment. We will use these reports to derive deep insight into our performance so that we can improve and transform into a razor sharp sales organization. Additionally, the role should provide internal feedback as to the quality of leads coming from each marketing vehicle (email, phone, web forms, etc.) to spot best practices and areas for improvement in lead generation.

CRM DATABASE MAINTENANCE

Regular maintenance of our CRM database will be required to ensure no incomplete or redundant data exists. Additional tasks may include updating the type of information we collect and report.

Success in this position requires a passion for talking with people, solving problems, persistence, identifying opportunities and winning. This role includes heavy call volume and email follow-up with the goal of identifying Sales Qualified Leads (SQL). 

Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • +2 years of sales experience in a similar role
  • Post-secondary education (college or university)
  • Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to learn and remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills oral and written
  • Organised, self-disciplined and professional.
  • Able to bring closure to difficult projects
  • Working Hours 8:00am – 5:00 pm


COMPENSATION AND MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:

The success of the BDE will be measured based on:

  • Number of engagements made in a period 
  • Number of opportunities created 
  • Efficiency/accuracy with which inbound leads are processed 
  • Pipeline size attributable to BDE activity and revenue generated

On Target Earnings $80,000 to $100,000 depending upon experience

Technical Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with Salesforce or another CRM

Event Marketing Specialist

Location: San Francisco (Office Based 3 Days/Week with Flexibility to Telecommute up to 2 Days/Week)
Reports To: Marketing Manager

Seal Software is a fast-paced and growing start-up headquartered in San Francisco, with global offices.  Seal Software is currently looking for a full-time Event Marketing Specialist to manage all of Seal’s event marketing activities, which includes industry conferences, seminars, customer events, and webinars.  This role will also support daily general marketing activities, such as social media marketing management, updating the website, data management using Marketo and Salesforce.com for data management and reporting, collateral management, and other duties as needed. 

As a strong candidate for this position will:

  • Have excellent professional communication skills;
  • Be highly detailed oriented;
  • Effectively manage multiple events at a time in various stages of planning;
  • Write compelling marketing copy across multiple channels (i.e. email marketing, social media posts, event titles and abstracts);
  • Have a solid understanding of foundational business and marketing principles.

Duties Include:

  • Own and manage all of the marketing events from start to finish.
  • Manage social media marketing calendar, including publishing posts, monitoring relevant conversations, tracking, and reporting.

  • Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, preferably within the Business to Business arena, Software or SaaS environment

  • Experience writing compelling marketing copy
  • Strong copywriting skills – ability to rework technical text for a broader business audience.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills

preferred, but a willingness and proficiency in learning new tools quickly will be taken into consideration as well

Accounting Assistant

Location: San Francisco 
Reports To: Assistant Controller
Years of Experience: 1-3 Years

Seal Software is a fast-paced and growing start-up headquartered in San Francisco, with global offices.  Seal Software is currently looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of accounting tasks to assist the Assistant Controller.  This role will support daily accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparing monthly payroll for US division.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Validate and process expenses for employees
  • Code and enter supplier invoices into accounting system
  • Make phone and online payments for US vendors
  • Process bank transactions into accounting system
  • Assist with customer invoicing
  • Set up supplier information documents for customers
  • Prepare monthly payroll for US employees
  • Setting up payments for approval as need
  • Maintain 1099 consultant documentation
  • Process journals as and when required by Assistant Controller

Additional responsibilities may include

  • Assisting in onboarding new employees
  • Gathering new hire documentation
