Seal Software board members have extensive experience and knowledge of building and leading global software businesses.
Over the past 16 years as a technology investor, Mike has served on 15 boards and made around 35 investments for Apax Partners, Advent Venture Partners, and in a personal capacity. His investments are mainly in enterprise software and internet services, and have included The Foundry (acquired by Carlyle), SuSe Linux (acquired by Novell), Fizzback (acquired by NICE Systems), Ubiquisys, Moogsoft, Illumio, King.com, QXL.com (acquired by Naspers), and Houzz.com.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Ulf, a co-founder of Seal Software, joined from ERP provider IBS AB, where he was SVP and President of Iptor, the hardware and services business of IBS. Prior to joining IBS he was SVP EMEA for Open Text. Ulf brings many years of enterprise software and services experience in global as well as entrepreneurial environments, having worked at Proact (where he was a co-founder and CEO) as well as Legato, EMC and Kazeon. Ulf studied Economics at Stockholm University.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Seal Software, Mark served as CFO for IBS AB, and Paris listed Hubwoo SA, where he served initially as CFO and then as CEO. Prior to this, he was CFO at Atempo, London listed Sherwood International and Converge Inc. He has also held senior finance positions with Baan, Attachmate, and Sun Microsystems after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Mark has a BSc in Electronic Engineering.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Prior to joining Seal Software, Steve served as Senior Vice President, EMEA for Spend to Pay Procurement software provider Hubwoo. Steve came to Hubwoo after Intersources, the procurement services firm that he co-founded, was acquired by them in 2007. Steve’s background is in commodity risk management, trading, sourcing and procurement having held senior roles with Mars, United Biscuits and Refco. Steve has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies.
Andrew, a veteran of Hewlett Packard with more than 25 years’ service, has held key roles in the United Kingdom, Europe and worldwide. Currently a SVP, Andrew previously served as VP, leading the worldwide sales, services and support organisation for software. Prior to this he was vice president and general manager for the HP software business in EMEA, where he led a highly successful team in driving revenue, growth and profitability. Prior to this, Andrew managed HP’s enterprise business in EMEA, responsible for the sale of HP products and services into the company’s top 5,000 accounts. Andrew holds a degree in business studies from the University of London and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
